Eusebio Güell , commissioned Gaudí the drawing up for developing an estate for well-off-families in a large property he had. Its location was unbeatable in a healthy setting and with great views over the city and the sea.
Mr. Güell wanted to recreate the British residential parks (or gated communities).
October 1900, they began, the project envision 60 houses, but in 1914 the works were abandoned and just 2 of them were built.
In 1926 became a public park and in 1984 was declared a UNESCO world heritage site.

Gaudí designed the common services such as the entrance and the porter´s lodge pavilions, the Nature square, the hypostyle room and roadways, paths and viaducts.

Gaudí began working at Sagrada Familia at the age of 31 and he spent the last 12 years of his live completely devoted to his great vocation: Serving God through architecture.

The first stone was laid in 1882 and now, after more than 13r years later, construction continues on the Basilica.

Gaudí predicted. “People would come from all over to Sagrada Familia and the temple would influence art”. Nowadays, the temple welcomes over 4 million visitors each year, in 2019 was the most visited monument in Spain.

It´s Gaudí s “Masterpiece”, here he integrated all the arts that are part of the architecture, it´s also a perfect combination of tradition and innovation and it´s full of spirituality .
