La Botifarrería, next to the Basilica of Saint Mary of the See, enjoyed since it opened (1955), a great reputation thanks to its Catalan sausages know as botifarres and bulls and its special ham made by Mr. Travé, a master pork-butcher.
Nowadays, continues to get recognition from prestigious gastronomic guides such as Gourmetours and “La Guides des Gourmands”.
At la Botifarrería, they recover the traditional recipes of the Catalan cuisine to make sausages and mix them with innovative products such as apple and curry, Roquefort cheese, foie-gras or chocolate to make an unique chocolate dessert.
